What it does
MatterHive Shortlinks turns long, messy URLs into short links like mtrhv.co/a1b2c3d, ready for SMS, email, social media, signboards and print. Every link gets a QR code and counts its clicks, so you can see who's engaging, where they're coming from and which campaigns are working. Create links by hand in the web app, or straight from your own systems with our API.
Short links and QR codes
Shorter SMS that look less like spam, and a QR code for every link, ready for flyers, window cards and signboards. Pro and Enterprise links can have their own ending, like mtrhv.co/youragency/12-smith-st.
Click analytics
Clicks, unique visitors, devices, countries, referrers and QR scans, by day or by hour. Link previews and bots are filtered out, so "has this link been clicked?" is an answer you can trust.
Built for integration
A clean JSON API with bulk creation, per-customer grouping and a click feed, so CRMs and franchise groups can create links automatically and pull analytics into their own dashboards.
Good for your SEO
Permanent 301 redirects by default, and campaign tracking parameters like UTM tags passed straight through to your page.
Safe and private
Every link is checked against Google's list of unsafe sites, and visitors' IP addresses are never stored. Sign in with two-factor authentication or a passkey.
